What to expect for spring season!

Assessment Days

Overview - Regular Spring Season

Below are details on what you as a parent can expect during our spring season:

  • Your registration fee includes a jersey and a hat. Matching socks, pants, belts and cleats will be up to the parent to purchase but are not mandatory. The league will provide team bats and helmets to be shared by players if they do not have their own, but gloves will be provided by the parents.
  • Assessments are given to ALL players in each division.
  • Our teams are created through a draft process based on our assessment day (All players will be assigned to a team regardless of skill level provided that we have enough volunteer coaches)
  • Coaches will receive their rosters with player contact info 2-3 days after the draft is completed and are expected to contact you within that week to welcome you to the team.
  • Typically, there are 2-3 practices per week.
  • Games are held from April - May with practices beginning in March
  • Games will be scheduled twice a week per team.
  • Field availability will be allocated to teams for practice and game use, but ultimately the coach is in charge of making their own practice schedule (Days, Times and locations)
  • We anticipate all games for T-Ball, Rookies, Minors, and Majors divisions to be held at Stampede fields. Preps games are TBD on location as they do play other teams outside of NBR.
  • A calendar of events such as parent meeting, jamboree, picture day, and any other league events will be posted on our site/social media for you to add to your calendar.
  • Each division (Rookies - Majors) will have playoff games and a championship game that will be held towards the end of May. Preps championships are dependent on other leagues.
